How many watt do I need?
The manufacturer have chosen to specify how many square meters the individual patio heater can heat. The more watts the unit is equipped with, the more heat it gives. The bestseller model for a private terrace or balcony is between 1500 and 2500 watt.
As long as the effect is not above 3000 watt, the heater can be installed by private people. If it is over, an electrician must, for safety reasons, mount the unit. It is not only the amount of watt that can determine which model to choose. The performance and length go hand in hand. Typically, the smallest model of the three sizes is about one meter and then they gradually increase and reach a physical size of about two metres.
For this reason, the selection can also be increased, because there are physically not space enough for the heater. This can be the case, for example in restaurants and cafes, where a heater is often seen hanging over an outdoor table. A desk for 4 people should have a patio heater of 1.8 metres hanging over the table as it will otherwise be too hot for the guests.
Need any help?
Customer service at Bioethanol-fireplace.co.uk is ready to help and guide you choosing the right patio heater. It will be a pity to get the product home and subsequently find that it does not produce the expected effect in a particular room. This may be due to the length, which can be extended with an extension rod. Another dilemma may be whether a 2400 or 3200 watt is required.
On our shop, we highly value that our customers will achieve the full satisfaction after ordering and receiving a product. This applies to our category of patio heaters, but of course also to our fireplaces and accessories.
